Professional artist Nancy Colby assists her Watercolor adult class students with whatever scenes they are working on over the 6-week course.

A long time student of Nancy Colby, Wanda Kelly, brought in several of her
birds to the "Workshop for the Birds" for students to view up close. The
gray with a yellow head 5-year old Cockatiel "Cookie" and 3-year old white
"Brewster" are both rescue birds.

Artist instructor Nancy Colby invited Aviculturist Bonnie Grafton to share
her birds and offer information, advice and facts on the feathered creatures
of our world to her workshop students. Scarlet Macaw Brandy was very cooperative.

Professional Watercolor artist Nancy Colby brought one of her cats from home
to be a model for her "Purrfect Felines" Watercolor Workshop on November 7.
The cat was as interested in Nancy's brush strokes as the students.

Nancy Colby was awarded Best Pet Artist 2012 by Sarasota Magazine.
