Each week will offer different projects so your child may benefit from one or all eight weeks. Lessons will be taught by NPAC instructors and professional artists. We are dedicated to an education in fine arts and fundamentals as well as crafts. Most days we will tackle two 1.5-hour major projects with a lunch break. Some lessons may last two days or take place outdoors. Certain lessons may require an item from home, such as a found or recylable object. Suitable clothing for painting should be worn. Every day, students will learn about a famous artist, a technique, or an art term. Parents, be sure to ask your child what it learned that day! Pack a brown bag lunch and drink daily.

8 distinct weekly lesson plans, June 11-August 3, Mon-Fri from 9am-1pm, ages 6-14, $75/week.

Volunteers, youth.director@northportartcenter.com needs assistance with this program and would greatly appreciate your help in the classroom and at the front desk Monday-Friday 9am-1pm.
