North Port Art in Public Places

The new year brings new displays at our various establishments. Kitt Moran and Clare Harvey's paintings will hang on the main floor of City Hall through March.  BB&T Bank on Sumter & Price will host Sandi Hilliard's work.  Carol Dawkins' artwork is in Dr. Smith DDC's office also on Sumter & Price. The Cafe Evergreen at Warm Mineral Springs displays Rose Albers' lovely talents.  And our new location is Dr. Schapley DDS at 14236 Tamiami Trail which hosts Mary Alspaugh watercolor. 
 
We would like to encourage all of our artists to submit their contact information to the Art in Public Places lottery box. So, get involved and help us show off your work. 

North Port Bowls of Hope on the Green Art Basket

Small original artwork donations are needed for the Art Basket to be raffled at the March 24 North Port Bowls of Hope On The Green event. Please contact Carol Dawkins with your specifics.

A public art project NPAC member Faith Bradburn Keller has been working on for the past few years is finished and installed! The project was designing and painting a southern charm welcome sign for historic Brooksville, Florida. This project was especially important to the artists since she grew up in Brooksville and has five generations of family who were an important part of establishing the town.
